The Karcher Group, a Web development
and search engine marketing firm based in Canton, Ihio, will host an all-day search engine
optimization seminar in Columbus, Ohio. The SEO training course titled "Search Engine
Marketing Made Simple" will be held on March 27, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. -
3:00 p.m. at the Platform Lab (1275 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, 43212),
a non-profit IT testing and training facility dedicated to helping Ohio
technology businesses. Geoff Karcher, president of The

announced the launch of a direct marketing professional education
initiative for 2007 and beyond. The regional trade association for
Florida-based direct marketers has developed a series of seminars on
various direct marketing disciplines that will be offered throughout
2007 in sunny south Florida. The first two events focus on the newest
direct marketing channel, online marketing, and are scheduled to take
place at the Westin Hotel Ft. Lauderdale. Organic Search Optimization -
Basics to Advanced will be held on Wednesday February 28, 2007 and

On February 15, 2007 Think
Partnership organized a webinar to discuss its recently released white
paper on click fraud. The live event was hosted by paper's
authors, Think's CEO, Scott Mitchell and CTO, John Linden. In early November the company released ValidClick DirectAds, a turn-key solution that
effectively addresses click fraud. ValidClick DirectAds offers publishers the ability to
manage their own protected advertising inventory using a privately-labeled interface and
